Key Features
A complex Copper Zinc alloy commonly known as Manganese Bronze
with additions of manganese, aluminium and iron to improve the tensile
strength and corrosion resistance.
It is one of the highest strength copper
zinc alloys and has good wear resistance in bearing applications
Typical Uses
Aerospace
Mainly used in aerospace application for landing gear bushes and bearings where wear resistance and corrosion properties are critical properties.

ASNA 3402 CuZn19Al6 (UZ19A6)
An Airbus specification for a high strength Manganese Bronze. The alloy produced in the wrought form is one of the strongest manganese bronzes on the market. It has good wear resistance and high compressive
strength and is used for aircraft landing bushings and bearings. The alloy can also by manufactured to meet the requirements of AIR 9070 UZ19A6 , NCT 10-631-11 MD edition2, DIN 1709 and NF L 14-707.
