A high copper alloy with extremely good
electrical and heat conductivity that is
strengthened by heat treatment.
Electrical/welding:
The main application is for welding electrodes and electrical connectors which require higher mechanical properties. Copper chrome silicon nickel alloy is typically used in resistance welding tips, resistance welding wheels and fixtures, stud welding collets and tips.
Plastic and metal mould industry: Heat sink inserts in steel plastic moulds, blow pins, pinch offs, mould cavities for blow moulds, hot runner systems for injection moulds, cores,
core & ejector pins for injection moulds, plunger tips for metal die casting machines.
