A single alpha phase copper tin alloy with a small addition of phosphorus.
The alloy offers a good combination of cold working properties, strength and hardness. It has good
resistance to corrosion, including stress corrosion.
Architectural: masonry fittings.
Electrical: springs, clips, switch components and contacts.
Mechanical: cold headed screws, rivets, bolts, nuts, washers and cotter pins.
Bearing and expansion plates for bridges and other structural applications.

A forged 5% tin bronze which conforms to ASTM B 139 C51000 Alloy A and AMS 4625 . The alloy can be manufactured in a range of different combinations of ductility and strength including the hard temper, which produces high tensile strength and good fatigue properties whilst retaining good ductility. C51000 has good corrosion properties and can be used in high load bearing applications when adequately lubricated.
