C52100
A wrought 8% tin bronze that has substantially higher tensile strength than C51000, 5% tin bronze. Alloy C52100 meets the requirements of ASTM B 139 C52100
alloy D and QQ B 750. Manufactured to a hard temper, C52100 creates very high tensile strength that facilitates its use in high load applications,
especially considering its good fatigue properties. High impact bearing and loading applications requiring good wear characteristics would benefit most from the use of this alloy. Alloy C52100 also benefits from good corrosion resistance.
The alloy also meets NFL 14-703 CuSn8, DIN 17662/17672 2.1030 and JIS H 3270.
