CC334G
A high strength nickel aluminium bronze meeting the requirements of BS EN 1982-2008 CC334G CuAl11Fe6Ni6-C. The alloy has greater wear properties than CC 333G and can be used for sleeve bearings with high peak loads.
When used in bearing applications there needs to be adequate lubrication. The alloy is ideal for sea water applications. For engineers interested in higher integrity material, for more demanding applications,
it is suggested that the wrought version of this alloy is considered - CW308G.
Forgings in this material enable low cost volumetric inspection, and much greater control of mechanical properties than any castings. The alloy can also be specified to DIN 1714 W Nr 2.0980.03
