A Chinese wrought rod specification for high strength nickel aluminium bronze CuAl11Fe6Ni6. The higher aluminium, iron and nickel produces higher properties seen in QAl10-4-4 but with reduced ductility. Hence the alloy can be used for higher load application and also heat treated by quench and temper annealing to give enhanced properties. The alloy can also be manufactured to NF A 51-116 CuAl11Ni5Fe5 and DIN 17673-1, DIN 17678-1 W Nr 2.0978 and AMS 4590.
