Key Features
A bearing alloy with high strength, good wear resistance and corrosion resistant in sea water. The addition of nickel increases the strength and corrosion resistance.
Typical Uses
Can be used for annular and tubular structural components, nuts under load, high stressed fast running worm wheels rims and helical gear wheel rims.
Loading Characteristics for worm wheels depending on sliding speed.c=200-1250N/cm² or for short time loading 4000-4500N/cm².

AS 1565 C91700
An Australian nickel containing tin bronze CuSn12Ni2 sand cast specification that can also be offered in a continuous cast form. The addition of nickel to the
standard 12% tin bronze gives additional wear resistance and improved corrosion resistance in saline and brackish water systems. The alloy can also be supplied to other specifications
ASTM B 427 C91700, DIN 1705 CuSn12Ni W Nr 2.1060.04, BS1400 CuSn12Ni2 CT2 and EN 1982-2008 CuSn12Ni2 CC484K.
