Good strength, wear and corrosion-resistant. Requires adequate lubrication.
A general construction bearing alloy which can operate within the temperature range of -200°C to 200°C.
Maintains colour in urban industrial sulphur-polluted atmospheres. Can be used in sea water applications.
Typical Uses
Gears, worm wheels, valve guides and seats and structural applications.
Can be used in application where high concentrations of sulphur dioxide are encountered such as chimneys.
Has high strength and is resistant to stress corrosion cracking.

AS 1565 C95210
An Australian continuous cast ternary aluminium bronze CuAl9Fe3. The alloy, medium strength, has good abrasion resistance and can be used for slow moving parts under high
loads but need adequate lubrication. It is also used in sea water application and has moderate resistance in non-oxidising mineral acids and alkalis, is good
with organic acids and boiler feed water. The alloy can also be manufactured to
BS1400 AB1, ASTM B 505 C95200, JIS H 5121 CAC 701C Class1,
DIN 1714 CuAl10Fe W Nr 2.0940.03 and
EN 1982-2008 CuAl10Fe2 CC331, GB 1176 ZCUAl10Fe3.
