ASTM B 505 C90500
An American continuous cast high strength tin bronze CuSn10Zn2 also known as Navy "G" bronze. Tin bronze alloys are typically found in gear, high-strength bushing and bearing applications where high strength and low speeds and heavy loads are present. Other high-strength applications for these alloys are pump impellers, piston rings, steam fittings and valve bodies. This alloy can also be manufactured to QQ-C-390 D6, Mil-B-11553 Comp 16, QQ-B-1005 Comp 16, SAE 62, SAE J461/462, AMS 4845, SIS 145458 5458-15, NS16512-04, BS 1400 G1, GB 1176 ZCuSn10Zn2-La, DIN 1705 W Nr 2.1086.01, JIS H5121 CAC403C Class3 and AS 1565 C92610A.
