ASTM B 505 C93700
An American continuous cast high leaded tin bronze CuSn10Pb10. Bearings manufactured from C93700 have excellent wear resistance under conditions of high speed, heavy pressure and vibration, have low friction and can be used where lubrication is less than adequate and also where there may be minor misalignment. C93700 bearings require a hardened shaft and maximum shaft surface speeds of 4 m/sec can be tolerated. The alloy also meets many world specifications SAE 64, SAE J461/J462, QQ-C-390B E10, Mil-B-11553 Comp 23, EN 1982-2008 CC495K, BS 1400 LB2, NF A 53-707 CuSn10Pb10 Y70, DIN 1716 W Nr 2.1176.04, JIS H 5121 CAC 603C Class 3, AS 1565 C93700, SFS 2215 CuPb10Sn10, GOST 613 BrO10S10, NS 16540-04 and SIS 145640 5640-15.
