AS 1565 C92610A is the Australian material specification for one of the original gunmetals developed and used by the British Admiralty. It is used for moderate loads with limited lubrication in marine environments due to its ability to resist seawater corrosion up to a point. Copper Alloys can also produce this alloy to the following comparable material specifications: BS1400 GI, BS EN 1982-2008 CC 482K, CuSn11Pb2-C, ASTM B505 C90500, ASTM B271 C90500, ASTM B584 C90500, QQ-C-390, SAE 62, AS 1565 1974 905C, DIN 1705 G-CuSn10Zn 2.1086.01, Rg10, SAE J461, SAE J462, AMS 4845, JIS H5111.
