CC482K

A high tin bronze containing 2% Pb conforming to BS EN 1982-2008 CC482K CuSn11Pb2-C. The alloy is used mainly for sleeve bearings which can encounter high load peaks. The alloy can tolerate impact loads up to 60Mpa and also used for highly stressed guides. It has good anti friction properties and excellent corrosion resistance in salt water. The alloy can also be manufactured to DIN 1705 CuSn12Pb W Nr 2.1061.04.
